AI 772 ATQ-LHR questions

AI 187 Amritsar-London is listed as a 772. Are these the ex-UA planes with the old UA biz seats? If so, I guess the IFE is those tiny smaller-than-Y PTVs on a loop?

Also, what time should I aim to checkin for this 1500 flight from ATQ?

Yes, old plane with UA interiors. IFE usually doesn't work at all, so don't worry about the small screen. In Business Class, check in about 90-120 minutes prior to departure.

Thanks. Sounds like a great way to spend a 9 hour day flight...not.

Ha! Serves you right for booking AI. You are in my part of the world, let me know if you need any assistance.

Enjoy ATQ. After this you will feel that LHR is the size of a small country.
