Equipment change AI for ORD to AMD

When I booked these tickets back in November for $1200 each for 1/19/08 and return on 2/19/08, I saw that I would be flying the 777-300 all they way there and back. Now the equipment is showing a 767ER. Did they switch? I specifically booked this flight so I could fly on AI's 777. What gives? Flight 126 and Flight 127.

Weird, on the AI website it still shows that they are using the 777. Anybody know the real answer.

Thumbs up

AI 126/127 BOM-FRA-ORD-FRA-BOM is 77W i.e. 777-300ER.

I saw this on kayak.com and by clicking on details. I know this is probably not accurate whatsoever but just last week they were actually showing a 777 and not they are showing a 767.

Kayak is a SABRE based system and there is a known bug in SABRE that translates aircraft type "77W" as "Boeing 767ER" rather than as "Boeing 777-300ER".

Air India doesn't have any 767s at present, so I wouldn't worry.

One more i think..
KAYAK is showing AI 140/141(JFK-BOM-JFK) prestigious flight is on 767-200LR instead of 777-200LR.

Anyways shpatel, we are waiting for your TR/experience on AI's brand new 77W.
