Air India Business Class India-Gulf -- Worth an extra US$200?
I am looking at DEL-BOM-Gulf, with the BOM-Gulf sector on a 744. Is it worth the extra US$200 (from $300) to upgrade to biz?
Thanks.

Old style biz but you at least dont get lumped in with a huge bunch of contract laborers - who are the bulk of Y traffic from India to the Gulf.
Go for it.

It will be the best $$$ you've spent.
If you have doubts, just imagine yourself in the center seat of the center section among the gulf labor force from India - many of whom are on a plane for the very first time.
