Mid October ROM-TXL-STO?

I have a tight meeting schedule and am planning to try to make it to airport in Rome for a 1:25pm departure, but assuming I miss that I was planning on buying a backup ticket for the AB flight that leaves at 2:20pm. I'm not paying so dont really care if I throw away in the end, but if I do miss the 1:25pm flight, what are the chance that these two AB flights (FCO-TXL and TXL-ARN) will operate? Seems like a pretty bad risk to take for getting to STO in time for a dinner meeting... But no other options that get me in for dinner...

Assuming the routes will still be running, I would check the flight history to see how often these specific flights were delayed in the past.

AB is still having issues with Aeroground at TXL so I wouldn't be surprised you encounter delays even if they are running mid october.

I don't recall having had a single on-time flight at TXL for the past six months and my last flight there was 1.5 weeks ago.

At least pre-bankruptcy, the TXL-ARN would have been operated by a AB aircraft that basically shuttles between TXL and ARN. Short-haul ops operated by AB aircraft with AB staff have not been subject to significant operational changes YET. If you are booked on the last TXL-ARN flight of the day of out TXL (which I assume given your 01:15 p.m. departure ex FCO), say hello to delays. I have been on that flight quite a few times in my life and have yet to experience an one-time arrival.
