Award ticket cancellation and contact number in the UK
 

Hi,

I made an award booking for 18 May than now needs to be cancelled or rebooked for the route LHR-BSL. I am based in the UK but cannot find a contact number for AB/Topbonus for the UK. Have not been able to get a response via e-mail and it is not possible to rebook or cancel online.

Questions:
1. Is it possible to have the award ticket cancelled and the points recredited?
2. Or maybe rebook the ticket for another date within the next year.
3. Does anyone have contact numbers for AB in the UK?

As far as I know:
1. to have it cancelled: yes; to have the miles recredited: no (if you have booked the "Meilenversicherung"/miles insurance, you would get your miles back course)
2. yes, but the new flight date must be within 365 days after your first booking. And you have to pay EUR 50,-.
3. UK: no; contact number +49 30 3434 3433 is located in Germany.
