I was looking for one way car rentals ex AKL drop off in Taupo. Prices vary from $181 (Budget) to $300+.
I tried both as a NZ resident and Canadian. Base rate was cheaper for a Kiwi than a Canuck, but the drop off charges are $50 and $150 respectively. Canucks win this time.
