so what are the scenarios

1) no seats are released, but AirNZ puts up the sold put sign to imply they were and all purchased
2) they are loaded for sale and sold to people who just happened to be looking in the right place at the right time, all this happening before we are advised they are for sale, and by the time they are advertised for sale all seats have already been purchased
3) internet connection too slow

(added) 4. BOTS

I have heard of people making BOTS of this purpose. Maybe its time that NZ introduces a simple two letter image that you have to enter the letter to purchase

seems the issue of BOTs recognised as I have to enter a code to proceed with my booking. Well done AirNZ - much easier to get a booking made.

AirNZ are very persistent in offering Auckland-Hamilton - and they never seem to sell out. I wonder why

They got rid of OLCI and change it to your checked-in as soon as you receive your PNR.

$1 seats went straight to sold out again today. Getting pretty sick of NZ and their IT problems/blatant false advertising.
