Yes only on the weekends and then codeshare with Air Tahiti Nui on their A340-300.
I believe next year it drops down to one NZ flight a week.
I forgot to add that November is a low month for Tahiti, due to weather, but still is a tropical island paradise.

Wow ... the domestic flights were $13 one-way. Most everything is gone.

Ahh, this e-mail explains it:

Over the next month, we're getting out and about all over
New Zealand to bring ludicrously low grabaseat airfares to
every single one of our 26 domestic destinations - and we're
starting today, Monday 24 September!

Each morning the Air New Zealand grabaseat team will show up in a new town, and spin the grabaseat wheel to set ludicrously low airfares, outbound from that town, for that day only.

When and where will we pop up next? The only way to find out is to watch 'Breakfast
on TV One' on a weekday or visit airnewzealand.co.nz every morning.

So look out for us - we'll be coming to a town near you soon!

Not surprising. LAX has far more seats to sell.

TRG grabaseat $16

Flights to and from Tauranga today for $16. I thought I had three TRG-CHC-TRG, got through to the final purchase page using Airbucks and then was informed that the flights were no longer available.

Two subsequent attempts brought up a "Service Unavailable" page.

I think I'll give up....

Just got 2 seats Rotorua to Auckland today for 17$ea. Wonder if arriving at 7.45am would be fine to connect to NZ0103 to Sydney leaving at 9.00 booked separately?

As long as there is no fog in Rotorua or Auckland you should be okay.

Booked AKL-BHE today for $17 and found ticket issued in booking class A. I thought grabaseats were all booked in P. Something must have been changed.

Just got AKL-Bay of Island return for NZD12 for the first weekend in November, still booked in to A, but Say's Economy, and states no airpoints on the Eticket.

Might head up to 90 mile beach for the weekend.
