Splitting group booking cash and APD to get some status points.
Planing on trip to Asia with family.
I'm Elite currently, though will be tight to retain as doing a few less flights this year.
i have ~8,000 airpoints currently.
i was wondering if I can pay wife and kid's fare with airpoints and mine cash on the same booking so I still get status points on my airpoints number for my seat.

Yes, on the payment section you can specify which travellers use APD and which use credit card. If there is one person paying by APD, the rest paying by credit card can also avoid paying credit card fee.
