ZK-OXC - HArd Landing 25-Jan - Close to write off

https://avherald.com/h?article=4a4e5a72&opt=0

ZK-OXC had a hard landing on 25 Jan and has been on the ground at Chc ever since. +3.6G is close to the write off point apparently. And there is apparently rumours out of AirNZ it is going to be a write off.

Will be interesting to see how they replace. Guessing a lease or one from the desert. Putting in a new order for a CEO would be a little stupid at this stage and having one domestic NEO will have logistic issues.

How did they manage to maintain schedule with the one that crashed in Perpignan a few years ago?

That was a TT one wasn't it? So could use widebodies when the longer maintenances were happening?

Looks like they managed to fix her up...

Air New Zealand A320SL ZK-OXC, which has been under maintenance at Christchurch since a hard landing incident on 25th January, returned to service early this morning operating NZ500 Christchurch – Auckland.
Been on around/over a dozen flights since returning to service as well...
