Airpoints Gold & Elite account overview

Hey team, I finally reached silver (I know, it's not Elite, but it's still pretty exciting haha ) I noticed that the status overview page changes as you move up and the tiers. Just out of curiosity, what does the Gold and Gold Elite pages look like? I'm assuming there is one for EP1 too?

Thanks Team

How long did it take for your account to go over to Silver. I'm currently on a trip that took me to silver and was hoping it would tick over before going home from the States to use my RU.

Hi Boeingflyer, It took around a week for it to process and for the upgrade to appear in my account, hope it works out in time

One week to switch over on the app and then about five weeks for documentation to arrive. Trust me Gold is the best colour. Elite black stains look dirty and really makes it less attractive.

I've not seen the black of Elite, but I know the gold looks much brighter and more cheerful than the dull grey of Silver.
It took more than a week for the app to show the update, and it's been over a month and I still don't have my gold pack. No fastbag on ten regional flights for me so far, so I've had to hope priority means priority, rather than "when we feel like it" for luggage.

I'm picking they chose black due to airline colours, but admit it's not good to make everything black! Colour is needed!

Re:tags, just grab a couple koru bag tags from the lounge. I got mine in AKL to replace broken tags. Just asked at desk and there was a whole stash behind there. That way you can use fast bag now. Also call NZ for a nudge along on the pack.

Having priority luggage is probably the best thing. Excluding fast bag and long distance, checking in luggage really adds to travel time, so I avoid it when possible.

Also the Elite boarding pass on the app has gold strips across the passenger name on a black background instead of gold or grey.

Cheers for the replies guys, i got silver during my transit through Houston, i was thinking of using my RU at the last minute but then decided not to as i had an unofficial skycouch (as only person in the row) but then just after i boarded two people came and sat beside me, must of been a late change by the airport so i ran up to the CSM and asked if i could use my upgrade and he went off the aircraft to get it sorted but i was 10 minutes too late as they had closed off the flight. It was a bummer until a steward came to me before take off and said they had another row (skycouch) reserved for me after takeoff. Was excellent service i thought.

Yeah I stood around the carousel at Hamilton last night thinking about how good priority baggage would be. Mine came out last, after everyone else had collected theirs.

I wonder whether checking in at the kiosk, rather than the premium customer check in, made the difference. Maybe the baggage handlers at the other end don't see the black "priority" label printed on the tag as easily as the orange "priority" they add on at the premium check in?

Bag tags are actually scanned and loaded separately, the priority tags should not make a difference other than for visual identification.

Tell that to baggage handlers at SFO. I'd swear they only care about bags with an orange tag.

There aren't any major changes besides 4-5 image assets. Here you go:

Can't find any reference to EP1, but I haven't had a proper dig around.

I thought EP1 are ones that clear $1m in revenue for the airline, that is beyond reach of many
