Last 737 flight

Is there anybody on here looking to do this at all?

Air NZ have a domestic sale on today (which coincidently doesn't include NZ557) but I was thinking of a WLG->AKL->CHC->WLG trip to waste a few hours on a Sunday evening.

Hmm, I might be up for that.

According to http://worldairlinenews.com/2015/04/...-in-september/ it's NZ 557, AKL-CHC, 6 Sep.

Thinking about it also but the penultimate flight (being CHC-AKL) looks expensive, and of course the last flight (per current schedule) requires an overnight in CHC.

I will definitely be on it ! This will be a tremendous opportunity to farewell a colorful history of domestic jet flying in NZ . 557 is indeed the final flight...

NZ557 arrives CHC at 7:55pm.
Theres a CHC-AKL NZ560 leaving at 9:30pm, so you could do a turnaround and head back to AKL the same night

I'll keep everyone posted if this changes. I have access to the flight schedules so if it changes I'll give everyone a yell.

I have booked recently. There seems to be 17 allocated seats at the moment and AirNZ website says they are selling out at the moment. I got in before the price went up recently so I presume as the number of empty seats decrease the price will go up .

Do others want to meet up in the lounge who are going. As far as I can tell I can have 1 guest in with me.

I was going to book but ended up flagging it.. With only 2 733s left flying now it's certainly getting harder to get one, so I purposely changed my flight last week just for a flight on one, even if it did mean sitting waaay down the back!

Welp, I'm booked on this now. Refundable fare in case there is an equipment change, but if not, I should be doing it. If anyone wants to say hi in the KP beforehand, all good. Never actually met another FTer before

Hello all, my first post and am booked on this last flight of the Boeing 737-300. Has anyone heard if Air New Zealand will do something memorable for this flight?
