Bring back the Bacon Roll!
Just got back from LAX on NZ1
Horror of horrors......
The Bacon Roll has been dropped in favour of a Bacon Bagel. With cheese and cream cheese. Yck......
And a bready dense bagel. Yck......
Who does AirNZ talk to before making "enhancements" like this?

Surely an Bagel costs more than an roll?
Don't see why they couldn't have offered both choices, either an bagel or roll.
Do the crew put them together in the air? surely they don't leave the bacon sitting in the rolls for 12hours.

It isn't just confined to LAX flights - it was missing from NZ7 the other night......yuck. Even a crew member agreed the new offering is not as nice.
Obviously the saying "keep it simple, stupid" is lost on Air NZ when it comes to a decent bacon roll.......

While it does sound pretty dubious on the taste front, I was thinking more of the religious connotations of combining a bagel with bacon. And then cream cheese. Woody Allen would be giggling over that for the number of levels that manages to hit.
