Folks,
Heads up for Wellington based plane spotters out there...
I have it on good authority that WLG is expecting a Qatar 787 later today.
Expected to land around midnight (wed 18/2/15) and probably around in the early morning, before departing.
Not a scheduled service (obviously).

I believe it is associated with perhaps the Iraqi foreign office?
Only info on the rough landing time (conveyed to me on Monday) so may have been altered since.
I am at the airport tomorrow (work related not travelling sadly). Hoping to see it, but may have left.
Presume it would not be on a gate, rather over by the RNZAF building...

Appears to dwarf the teminal from this distance!!
Hopefully still there in an hour as I make my way over to the airport.
