Recognising tenure at NZ

Today I received my new NZ Elite card. I noticed on the back of the cardboard folder that it came in, the phrase "We appreciate ongoing loyalty, so if you have been consecutively at Elite for more than one year, we'll proudly print that tenure on your card each year."

Clearly, NZ aren't too proud of my tenure, as there is no reference anywhere on the card to it.

Anyone else been recognised in line with the stated comment?

Yep, there's a small number 2 (indicating two years as an Elite) on the front of my new card.

What good eyesight. I would have dismissed this as a trade mark instead of 05.

My 12 is in small print to the right and above the word ELITE (within the circle). No member since statement on the card.

Yup - mine has Member since MAR10 on it, sadly they don't have an discount if you have been an member for so long.

Thanks all for feedback. Unfortunately, even with a magnifying glass, I couldn't discern any single mark that represented such longevity recognition.

So, I guess they just "forgot" when they printed my card. I'm not really that worried about having it on my card, but was more curious as to what my number was, as I have genuinely lost count.

Was your anniversary fairly recent? Perhaps they have now decided to drop the count of years of qualifying for elite.

Mine arrived a week or two ago and the number is there, took a bit of finding because the font is so small.

My qualification year anniversary is Nov 8 (my status year coincides with the calendar year). Actually, this is the earliest I have received the card that I can recall - usually comes out in mid-late Dec.

Perhaps they have dropped it - be interested if anyone receives a card after this week with a number on it.

My anniversary is 2 Nov and it has the tiny number.
+1 on the card arriving quickly this year. Normally I have to head overseas with a letter due to the card not arriving.

My anniversary is November 5th. I even counted the circles like you do on a tree but even that doesn't add up!
