LAX departure: T2 or TBIT?
I am flying home on NZ5 on Thurs 20th. Do I go to T2 or have Air NZ already moved to TBIT? I can't seem to find easy confirmation either wat

Mid-2014 for the move
Based on this Star Alliance press release on the TBIT lounge opening:
Air New Zealand will move to the terminal in mid-2014, at which stage its Koru Lounge in Terminal 2 will close.

In another thread I was looking at MCT's for NZ-AC connection at LAX.
With both being in T2, the MCT for NZ International to AC International is 90 minutes - but only until October 25th. (see below in Red)
From October 26th onward, the MCT moves out to 2 hours - I am thinking this may be the current planned date for NZ to begin arriving into TBIT.

Your MCT at T2 is 90 minutes [NZ-AC at LAX (II)].

I was thru LAX Koru Club in late Dec 2013.
Asked the dragons when this move was taking place - they seemed to suggest that a final date had not been decided "possibly summer" was what I heard at the time.

Given 22 October is the date for shifting from LHR T1 to T2, a shift in terminals at LAX around a similar date seems reasonable, although I would have thought NZ would want to announce this, as the combination of changes will significantly change the experience for anyone flying LHR-LAX-LHR on NZ, although whether it is altogether for the better at either end may be moot.

Has there been any indication yet regarding whether NZ might be able to have some kind of sterile transit arrangement for passengers on NZ1/NZ2 through flights? If they're still working through that, they may well want to delay the announcements until they have a definitive outcome.

If it is any consolation, since the new building opened at TBIT it is a much nicer terminal; and I've found security queues at TBIT to move faster than they do at T2.

I have the actual answer....
On my booking I am in LA from 27th March 2015 to 9th April 2015. It sai I arrive in LAX T2 and leave from TBIT. I confirmed this with Air NZ and they said they swap terminals between the time I am away. They confirmed this not too long ago for me, maybe a few weeks ago.

MCT information still has not changed, so 25th October still estimated as last day:
