Still no sign of an update for international mutilstops but good to see the domestic one has been updated to allow booking grabaseat fares with no bags
AKL-CHC was giving me $10, NPL-AKL was $15, i just booked about 10 trips and it varied each time (regardless of sectors per PNR) - ofcourse lets not forget the enhancement of 'insurance is already ticked' and you have to click remove...

LOL, plenty to discuss over a beer on 11 May then!
Pity both lads are now at Otago - they enjoyed your company back in Jun last year (the older perhaps a bit too much) - but that's Otago training for you
Besides, I can't throw stones in glass houses.....
For some reason, NZ have removed the ability to upgrade legs on multi-booking to business, meaning you can no longer use multi-booking if you want to fly to OOL and then fly back from BNE in business class.
The NZ online tools are pretty useless now. I have tried to book AKL - LHR with a stop over in HKG. Not possible.... Then a WLG - BNE - MEL - WLG trip. Again not possible!
I guess it is their plan to direct you to phone them and pay the fee.....
You could try constructing it from LAX not YUL. Sort out the YUL - LAX - YUL sectors on another carrier.
Good luck....
Also try searching from YUL on the same days as your original search, but without the RAR stopover. This could indicate if it's the RAR stopover or the YUL-LAX sectors which are causing the price to shoot through the roof. Often on the feeder sectors, NZ are VERY limited on the booking class availability, and if the required class is full on the day you need, the price can skyrocket very easily.
I note Air NZ are selling flight NZ937 AKL-OOL lowest fare for $451, while DJ are selling the same flight as DJ8087 for $229. I presume this wouldn't come under their best price guaranteed offer?
EDIT: Not that it matters now I guess, I went with the $229 seat + one 32 kg bag deal, rather than the $451 seat only deal. Hopefully they give DJ Golds access to the space+ seats at check-in (if any).
Nearly every time I want to use the website to search for a fare/book a ticket, my mouse passes over the top drop down menu bar and when I click the 'From' city, I end up shooting over to some other page on the website instead. The drop-down only occurs about half a microsecond before I click the city and by then it's too late.
I reckon the drop-down thing needs a delay associated with it so it only drops down after a good half-second or so of hovering the mouse over it.

Same happens on other pages on the site - eg departures and arrivals page.

Is there any way to get this tool to offer more flight options or, even better, to tell it which particular flights you want? If I look at LHR-SFO as one sector in a multistop, it offers me a choice between two VS flights. But if I start from DUB, it wants to route me to LHR on either BA or EI -- that's fine -- but then the only transatlantic option is on UA. And it's not because of connecting time; there's plenty of that. I would prefer to have VS for the longhaul rather than UA; any way to get it with this tool?
