Delta status on KL boarding pass

As of today, I am a Delta gold member. I am flying with KLM tomorrow night so will be checking in soon for that flight.

However, on the KLM and AF manage booking pages, it still shows me as silver - so I assume that on my boarding pass it will list silver too, ie no skypriority and no lounge access. Is there any way to push it to update from the KL/AF side so my boarding pass is accurate when I check in tonight?

Barring this failing, can I just show the delta app that says gold and my KLM boarding pass and get access that way?

I will be using these services at GIG and at AMS.

Thanks!

Contact KLM via Twitter or Facebook for example and ask to remove your FF number, then add it again. Hopefully it will update the status.

They removed it and I re-entered it myself on the website. Logged in again and it said silver.

They should be able to see the correct status once you present yourself at a lounge or check-in desk.

Also, KL lets you print a paper version of your cards for the time between making status and receiving the new card -- does DL not have such a scheme?

Delta has a card in the app. If I show that, will they accept it even if it's not listed on my boarding pass? If so - there's no problem.

This glitch has been happening for at least a couple years. KLM keeps thinking that I'm a base member and not a DM. My status also appears wrong on KLM flight manifests and also on some DL flight manifests exAMS, which isn't surprising as KLM handles these flights.

The BP printed at the airport will show both the status and the SkyPriority designation. If it doesn't the App should be good at most locations except some European stations that didn't get the memo about some airlines using digital cards instead of physical cards.

And even worse, some Silver members (including myself when I was silver) were listed as Club2000 in the BP and manifest, but I think they were able to correct this.

Unfortunately they seems to be more reactive to fix things when it goes in a certain direction, I don't know why ....

I don't see how that's "worse"

On a different note, I'm Delta Silver and flying KLM tomorrow and my BP shows no status at all, just my DL FF#.

The online check-in version will not show Silver most of the time, but the airport boarding pass will show Dlxxxxxxx SILVER. If you are connecting to a flight on DL and you are confirmed in First/Business class on the DL segment, they will add the SkyPriority word to the BP, although much smaller than the one that prints at the top of the BP.

This actually didn't happen. I don't know if it's because I checked in at an outstation with a generic AF/KL desk and got a BP on black airport stock, but it didn't show my FF number at all. I asked the agent to make sure it was on the reservation in fact.

DL Gold here, both pdf and app BP say nothing about my status. I'm just flying a daytrip to AMS on KL in economy, so no great expectations, but lounge access would be nice... sky priority security lane is only for C/F anyway.
