Earning on Alitalia "operated by AirBerlin"?

Hi everyone,

I have FB gold and am booked to fly VIE-FCO-TIA and back on an AZ ticket. All the flights have AZ numbers but the VIE-FCO and FCO-VIE are operated by HG/AB.

Question: will I get any miles to FB for these flights? I'm booked in a pretty high booking class on all flights but not sure if flying HG/AB metal will get me any credit on Flying Blue.

Thanks in advance! Muhi

HG/AB is not a Skyteam airline.

When a flight is not coded AF or KL, in order to earn FB miles, the flight has to bear a Skyteam code (such as AZ) AND ALSO be operated by a Skyteam airline.

Therefore, no earning in Flying Blue for "AZ operated by Niki/Air Berlin" flights.

Indeed - nor the AZ operated by Etihad which are also frequent.
