Airport Lounges

I have FB Ivory. Is it possible to gain access to the Airport Lounges by using miles? I believe that any AF passenger can access the lounges for a fee, but if I could use miles instead that would be great.

You must be silver or above to be able to obtain paid access to the lounges.

KLM allows Gold and Platinum members only to "buy" 5 Crown Lounge (Amsterdam only) vouchers 'for 15000 miles.

Well, now I'm really confused. I am reading on Delta.com that I can get a Skyclub pass for $50 and use it at Air France lounges. Am I reading that correctly?

Yes. But it has conditions. For instance you definitely CANNOT use it at just any AF lounge.
$50 is also pretty expensive.

Questions about Delta SkyMiles should go in the Delta forum.

No, you are not reading it correctly. One can use a Sky Club voucher at a Sky Club. Nowhere else.

Sorry for the wrong info. Only possible if you have a 30-day-pass or up.

If you have a business ticket on AF you have now access to CDG First lounge for 57000 miles or 800 : only available on reservation.

...as long as you are travelling in Affaires on a route on which La Premiere is not offered, and as long as the daily limit of 10 paying passengers has not been reached.
