Really really freaky coincidence about the missing AF flight...

And I am double posting this onto Newsstand.....

It would seem that few people have been to Fernando De Noronha. I have. There is a great beach in the Northern part of the island, NE probably, it has been named locally for many decades AIR FRANCE BEACH, because that is where many years ago AF flights would stop for provisions. Very Freaky....

I thought from the OP title that you refer to the advance warning on 5/27/09 about a bomb planted in the AF flight EZE-CDG. That turned out to be false. Then...

Yes, I have been to Fernando de Noronha (holiday with French friends, actually) and know the beach ... I remember we were amused by the fact (it was actually the Compagnie Genérale Aeropostale before Air France that was present on the island, at least that's what outr hotel owner told us).

Interesting article, I am still surprised to this day that more was not made of this coincidence in the news internationally.
