AF business class baggage..2pc

i am flying w/o status to bom on CO and they allow 3pc checked baggage.
on return, Af allows only 2pc to US in busoness class. any way to get 2 checked pc allowance on CO ticket??

If travelling on a AF flight no. (i.e. not a CO codeshare on AF metal) I have never managed any increase in the number of checked bags on transatlantic flights.

The most extreme case was a family member returning to Europe after an extended stay in the States, Platinum Elite on a First Class (award) ticket who was required to pay for a third checked bag in IAD. Letter of the law and all that but still annoying.

I have no direct experience flying on a codeshare on AF metal - perhaps someone else can help there.

Hi lax747 and Dambus,

On codeshare flights it is the operating carriers regulations which are in effect.

So if you are flying AF, even on a CO or DL ticket, AF baggage regulations apply.

what happens if part of trip is in economy as rest is business (Award ticket)??
will be a Co flight
