AF Flights on "Check My Trip" .com

I learned on this forum that I can see my seat selection for AF flights on www.checkmytrip.com. However, the seat map for NTC configured 777 does not work. Most of the seats do not show up, including my seats. This problem is consistent for me for flights in Nov, Dec and now Jan.

Anyone else encounter this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

Tom

It works for me with the 747. I haven't tried on a 777.

If you are travelling on a DL Skyteam award the record locator given by DL is not the same as AF uses in its system. When you call AF to do seat selection ask for the Amadeus Record Locator. This should get checkmytrip.com to work.

As far as I know, virtuallythere.com is the system used for the SABRE reservation system and checkmytrip.com is the equivalent for the AMADEUS reservation system.

As mentionned above, I think the record locators are different from one system to another.....

i know this is a 10yr old thread...

Does CheckMyTrip not allow AF to be brought up? I get this error:
141 - The application is not authorised by the airline to retrieve this trip. (141 - 284)

Are you sure you have the correct booking reference (e.g. didn't book through DL, etc) because yes, checkmytrip still very much works for AF bookings.

Remember this thread ?

Since end 2009, for a very mysterious reason, we could not see anymore on CMT AF bookings made through AF channels (web, call center, airport). But we could still see bookings made through 3rd party web sites, travel agencies, etc.
For about 2 months now, I'm not able to see anymore bookings made through our corporate travel tool (Egencia). I just tried again with a new booking and nothing. Hardly understandable but a reality.

In my humble opinion, the best way to look at your reservation is to use the Saudia Website.

You can even look at past PNRs.

I booked 2 AF trips, one with DL points and one with AF/FB points. In both cases I got the same message when trying to bring them up on CMT (yes, I obtained the AF reloc for the one booked via DL)

Indeed, I had no problem with my last trip but have just booked another one direct with AFKL and indeed am getting the same error message on the Amadeus website.
