My understanding is *not*, that the airline takes the pilots unions to court for not having realised savings.
What has been taken to court is a disagreement about one of the clauses in the agreement lying behind the savings plan. Air France wants to have the possibility to have A de Juniac take the final decision in case of disagreements among the other stakeholders. Apparently the pilots' unions are opposed. The matter has been taken to court to get a ruling how the agreement should be interpreted.
But then, my understanding may be wrong.
By agreeing to higher productivity, cost measures, etc. For instance, they could accept to work at TO conditions when flying TO plans. For instance, they could accept to fly more hours. Etc.
(Or did I misunderstand your question?)

A more recent article (http://www.lesechos.fr/journal201506...VETDEzBpbUi.99) suggests though that AF indeed wants the court to rule that the management should have the last word on Transform plan.

Now that almost everyone agrees that pilots did not meet the target, mainly due to the 2014 strike, AF is in position to order these measures. The pilots would disagree and AF wants the court to say these measures can be unilaterally called.

Well I guess the pilots are not going to wait for the courts? Am I reading this right?
