SNN Diversion (AF 733)

I see a 747 sitting at SNN - any more info on this?

Vegetables (peppers I think) set off a fire alarm when the flight was over the Atlantic.

Boeing 747-428 F-GITE flying AF733 SDQ-CDG declared emergency (Squawk 7700) due to a fire alarm in the cargo hold and diverted to SNN.

An AF A320 reg F-GKXY has been ferried to SNN and brought back the 156 pax to CDG as AF4191 the same day.

Whoa Whoa Whoa people, steady on. In fairness to the OP this was started in the BA forum then everyone jumped in and assumed it was the AF one from yesterday without any evidence and before you know it it's been carted off to the AF forum. Poor show LTN Phobia.

Actually, the OP was right, there was a BA B744 at SNN this morning, G-BNLN inbound as BA114 from JFK diverted.

Please can this go back to the BA forum where it belongs!
