All - I'm currently booked in J, CDGJFK on the A380. Chances are I will NOT get ship F-HPJH.

I'm tempted by an earlier CDGJFK departure, on the 77W.

Seatguru suggests seat width is materially different. Is this accurate? How about IFE? I've flown the A380 before, so there's no "novelty factor" to be considered. Any reason I shouldn't take the 77W?

If the previous flight in 77W has P you have a strong probability to end up with the older generation of J seats (NEV2), if there is no P you will have the latest version (NEV4) with the latest IFE (Panasonic, bigger screen 16/9).

For 388, F-HPJG is now delivered thus a 2/8 probability to get NEV4, otherwise it would be NEV3 which is not that different. IFE will be Thales, with 3/4 screen of good size.

Yes, the 77W shows P. I'm not familiar with AF products (and am walking at moment so didn't search), I assume NEV2 is undesirable and I should stick with the A380?
