AF PV - Delta Economy comfort seat
I just flew back to CDG from Orlando and trip was a two-leg flights (stopover in JFK on my way to Orlando and ATL on the return). Tickets were purchased online on AF website under Premium Voyageur booking classes (A for PAR-JFK and S for the rest including domestic flights).
Though Delta domestic flights do not offer Premium, the least I would expect is to be allocated an Economy Comfort seat. I was also "that close" (according to delta staff) of not being able to access to the Delta Skyclub since I couldn't provide my FB card (I haven't received yet). Information indicating my FB status on my boarding pass couldn't change anything since according to the staff access can only be granted after sliding their card into the system. I thought flying in Premium should provide access to lounges with no regard to the status.
When buying a AF Premium trip from point A to C including a stopever in B, premium "avantages" are only guaranteed on flight operated by AF (from A to B)?
PS: I couldn't find any recent post but AF has downgraded the premium travel kit since the one for business changed from brown to some glossy vinyl-like grey. Are now missing from the Premium kits:
- shoehorn
- shoe bag
- sockets
- comb
- Clarins cream sample
- do-not-wake-up sticker
Remain:
- ear cushion protection
- toothbrush and -paste (somehow changed: paste now is a blue gel)
- eye shade
- ear plugs

Flying Premium Voyageur does not entitle you to lounge access; your Skyteam Elite Plus status does provided you are flying on / in conjunction with an international flight (which you were).
Though in most situations your boarding pass should be sufficient to access the lounge some attendants ask for the card as well. In that case there is nothing much you can do.
Access to Delta Economy Comfort on Domestic flights is also given to Flying Blue Platinum members (see Delta website). That said, if all seats were already assigned - as these seats can be reserved on a first come, first served basis for those eligible free of charge or others who are willing to pay - there is not much a gate agent can do I am afraid.
