YYZ-LHR tomorrow - on a 777.
$699 and I accepted. I have a $100 MCO to offset the cost.
As a humble tangoer it's only my 3rd time "up front"; the other 2 occasions were short domestic flights: on D reward and then a freak winter storm switch/op-up to a C fare.
Finally, at least for a day I am no longer Gate Lice!
Checking 856 tomorrow the only Exec. First fare available is: $3944

did online check-in for AC784 SFO-YYZ sep7/09, was on a ridiculously cheap S fare (c$177->c$217.76); offered for us$349. Totally not worth it but since I feel like burning cash (and kinda want to check in 3 luggages), I accepted the offer
*pray pray pray* I hope I get food X3
I feel ironically angry right now though...I shelled out us$349 but I'm angry that the c$7 onboard cafe prepayment doesn't get refunded or used as a credit in some way
(and how come my LMU is priced in us$? does that mean people who LMU a LHR/NRT/etc flight pay their LMU in pounds/yen/etc??)
I just connected through LHR. At the connections desk (when you arrive at T3 via the FCC) There was a cardboard sign on the counter behind the agents advertising "Upgrades to Executive First...etc. Ask us how." It clearly listed two prices (I don't recall the exact amounts but it was something like 389P to points East and 489 to points West.
It was not obvious over on the back counter, I wonder if they only pull it out to a prominent place when necessary.

Yep. Saw that at T3 on Friday GBP 438 to western Canada, which would have translated to CAD$780 which is a significant wallop to the wallet. I declined and hoped in vain to get a courtesy upgrade.....
Was not too bad in row 10 (bulkhead on the 767), we were dished "chicken or white fish" ??
Tango Plus B fare, YVR -> YYZ, $329 plus GST, which is consistent with previous posts. Lots of J and I space at the 24-hour on-line check-in, with at least 9 available seats. (The return YYZ->YVR, on the other hand, had J=1, C=0, Z=0, and I=0, and no LMU was offered.)
I accepted this upgrade, as it was a red-eye on a 767 with flat-beds. However, there was an equipment change 12 hours later, and I instead flew on standard Executive seats on an Airbus 321. Boooo!

Reason: added fare class
