So we can all get a handle on how they are going to work in the real world, how much they will cost, et c.

Post flight, date, route, original fare basis (T, T+, Lat, etc), and if known, seat inventory (i.e. J9, C7, Z5, I3). If you do upgrade, please also let us know how many empty J seats there were in the cabin, if any. And if you were considering a certificate upgrade, why or why you didn't opt for the LMU.

It would be helpful if this thread could be limited to "just the facts" and no discussion, which could be posted elsewhere. That should make this thread more useful for everyone.

Should anyone want to discuss LMU's further please post in this thread:

YYZ to SEA, Sunday July 26
AC 541
about $500, declined.

SEA to YYZ, Monday July 27
AC544
about $500, declined.

Two people got brought up front though because AC double booked some of the seat numbers. I should be so lucky.

LGA to YYZ, Tango, $199 US

I was extremely tired, had no status, and considering the ticket was $80, I reluctantly accepted

AC118 YYC-YOW $585 from Flex W. Declined.

Just not worth it when you've got preferred seats with only 2" less leg room. And as it turns out, got an op-up at boarding for one seat out of two. Gave it to Mrs. Voodoo, who was quite happy.

AC1851 YYZ-LAS $325 CAD from AP Y Award Ticket. Accepted

T-24 OLCI offer.

Was for brother-in-law, I managed to book the J seat on AP but he could only find space in Y.

$908+tax from Tango fare.
This was for each of two pax. Same PNR.
However ac.com was showing only one seat for sale at J unrestricted.

AC3 YVR-NRT for Saturday August 29 from N (PY) $995.

Not a horrible deal but declined. Could have bought J at the time for considerably less of a premium. Will be perfectly happy in my PY seat.
