Trouble reserving seat 8K for J award

I booked 2 J seats for my folks to Sao Paulo in November and both Aeroplan agents I spoke to have indicated that 8K is not showing up as an option (i.e. it's not even there to be reserved). As we know, the 767 has 1K - 8K. I'd like to get one of my parents 8K because it's extra private with the mini wall to the side. I am not aware that they block 8K for flight crew, any thoughts?

On a flight of that length, 8K it is the flight crew rest seat.

As noted, 8K is the crew rest. What about 8A--is that taken already?
