Why does a pass have to be for you? Why not for the most price-sensitive traveller who doesn't care about upgrades. I am always amused by the criticism of AC products by people who think they all have to be tailored to their personal needs, as if the rest of us who care about a buck don't count.
Tant pis pour toi.... or should that be tant pis pour moi, 'cause the pass caters to you and not me?? In other words, why are you angry?

Why not make one for both.
I have so much flying in the near future, I'd love to get a flight pass to make my life easier, but they make them really "cheap" (see: Tango) or surprisingly expensive (see: every real flight pass)

They make a cheap restrictive one for leisure travellers and an expensive flexible one for business travellers . What are they thinking?!?

I'd like to see a Tango+ version of the Escape Pass. I'd be much more inclined to buy one (and pay a little more for it) if it meant I'd get status miles and the other Tango+ benefits. I'm not looking for a Latitude pass; I'm fine with the restrictions, but I'm usually about a 40k Elite, so if I give up status miles on a transoceanic flight (or even a long transcon), that can be enough to lose me status for the next year.
Can someone confirm that the international 199$ bonus offer would be upgradable with a SSWU (lie Sao Paulo)?
So I just called web support, and they confirmed that this books into "regular A class", so upgradable with an SSWU and 100% status miles.
Not too shabby for $199, though lots of good deals right now on long haul flights.
Just keep in mind it's only good for travel between April 14th and June 15th. It says there are other restrictions, but it's not clear to me what those might be and the phone agent wasn't aware either.
I believe it just has to be A class availability without any day of week restrictions, and restricted to any city in Canada and the listed cities.
