stopover on reward
sorry, maybe a silly question, but i am a newbie for aeroplan.
Is the following allowed under 1 award.
NYC-fra
fra-NYC
Stopover for a week
NYC-Lax
or do I need a seperate award for NYC-LAX?

I'd think you need a separate reward for NYC-LAX, as it's backtracking
Unless you do a RTW (75K-100K reward) that do NYC-FRA, FRA-to somewhere in Asia, Asia to LAX, then LAX-NYC
then you can stopover in FRA, final destination Asia, then stopover in LAX again, then return to NYC
