Embraer E190 - Executive, seat 2A or 2F

I was wondering which seat folks tend to prefer - the single seats on the left, makes it like an individual lounge chair I guess, or the more industry usual 2 abreast window seat. I've never had the experience of the single seat, though I've tried the herringbone "suite" on CX.

Single seats are always good. Aisle and window. No neighbor.

Overall I feel the E190 give you the least Bang for Buck when it comes to Executive Class. The seats are not that much bigger then Economy. Economy is only 2x2 as it is. No hot meals, lots of occasions where they don't have enough real coffee mugs.

As I have to pay to upgrade my fares from Tango plus to Latitude if I want the chance to upgrade I will rarely shell out the dough if I'm on a E190.

2A,and get on early so that you can put your roll-on in the overhead space provided for 2D-F

The first time I got the single seat, I couldn't believe how useless the overhead bins were on that side...

That said, if you are not able to get on early, you can stuff a bigger bag under the two-seat row (no centre support) than the single.
