So it would seem the largest commitment will allow you to fly within a specified zone for $150 each way on 3 days per week. Betting the zone will be similar to last time but the major difference being no unlimited travel.
Pay more for a smaller commitment, travel on more days, or both.
Interested to see if the International pass addition will be $150 like last time. Still looks like it has the makings of a good deal.

I did really like the "unlimited" part of the previous years passes and like the passes in general.
I am interested in seeing what this years lands up being. The $150 /segment may or may not be attractive depending if taxes and fees are payable on top of segment cost or not. Ex: YEG - LAS RT fare only can generally be had for less than $300, but fees and taxes generally take it over the $300 mark.
I am checking daily to see if the link gets updated.
1) This was supposed to be for sale on 12/24 but marketing has delayed the launch to 1/7.
2) There will be four zones: a) domestic basic, b) domestic plus, c) transborder basic, and d) transborder plus. If one was in ON, for instance, domestic basic covers MB to the Maritimes while the transborder basic covers the Northeastern cities. There was no price breakdown given though one would assume the lowest price level (of $130 or $150) would be for a domestic basic pass.
3) The travel period is from 1/8 to 5/3.
4) The "bonus" flight pass credits will be available for purchase for $199 (for 2 credits) which can get one to LHR, CDG or HKG between 4/14 and 6/15.

Not too bad..doesn't sound nearly as good as the previous two years. I still remember the first year..unlimited travel an 10k status miles for $1,200..
Oh well! This should save a few bucks, just not as many..

If that is true ($199 extra for 2 credits for flights to HKG) this will be a great deal, especailly if one can actually find good availability.
That 7 day advance booking is a big difference.. that's not nearly as handy but I suppose if it's only two return flights that might work. The unlimited was great while it lasted.. let me get all kind of last minute flights in (mostly just visits to friends..) Pity they are changing it so much this year.
The AC link above (in this thread) works, but if you visit the AC website (ie: without using the link in this thread), there's no link on this promo. Basically, there's no info on AC's website about this.
As for pricing, my experience is that all advertised flight pass prices INCLUDE all taxes. This was the case for last year's Winter Getaway and Spring Getaway passes. It's also the case for AC's usual flight pass offerings.
So far, the pricing doesn't seem very attractive. $300 return from YYC to YVR is currently more expensive than pricing on AC's website. $300 return from YYC to LAX is also not that great of a deal, especially in the off-season.

What I'd like to know is ... will the mods ever correct the spelling for "Getaway"??? This drives me nuts every time this thread comes up! (And might as well fix the grammar on "knows" while you're at it.)
