on a YYC-IAH flight last month a guy came up to the counter with two "buddies" he probably met at the MLL, since they didn't seem to know each other well.
He asked the GA if he can use his certs to upgrade himself, plus the other two guys. I don't know what the convesation was like after that, as I turned away, but all three of them were sitting in J when the airplane took off.
