What is the best seat on AC?

Many questions lately about what the best seats are on each aircraft. I've compiled a list of facts about each aircraft in terms of seating. (I'll make a post per aircraft so it doesn't get too long) I don't have any time to do something fancy like seatguru.com so this is the best you'll get for now.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions to what you feel is a better seat or if you see something that I posted is incorrect.

Update: September 2007. In order to keep this thread useful it will only contain info about the Aircraft. Any discussion about the FAQ (including suggestions for update) will be covered in this thread: Discussion of the "What is the best seat FAQ"

A useful site

Hello everyone,

Found this site today and am very impressed by all the knowledge. Last week I found a site called Seat Guru which I found very useful. Thought I'd make my first post a sharing post!

Is there a bad seat in C on the refurbished 763?

I just booked YYZ-SCL and have, with my wife, 1A and 2A, and wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on better pairs for a couple traveling together?

Also, in light of the fact that all of the seats are singles and have aisle access, is there a bad seat in C on this plane?

Thanks.

I had posted the same question a few weeks back, you can see the thread here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=851718

We decided due to the fact that we will be on a night flight and due to more privacy for the single seats to get 3A and 4A. The AC agent who assigned them got a little surprised (she did not say anything against it but she reconfirmed with me a couple of times before assigning them). All the pics I have seen at the A.net did not look like there is much of an advantage to get two angled seats (F/K) or on the A row. Esp on a night flight.

Also note that 1A is right behind the lavatory. Seatguru has it marked at yellow as it can be bothersome seating there...

I love 1A on this plane. Regardless of the proximity of the second washroom (the first one is next to the cockpit), you have lots of privacy and do not have to do deal with anybody but yourself.

Flew AC7 yesterday and was seated in 51E with no power plug. Luckily, the kind woman in 51D wasn't using hers, so it all worked out. Did I run into an anomaly or does 51E not have a power outlet on the other 77Ws as well?
