I'm going to join aeroplan so that I can try to use the *A award ticket search function on the Air Canada website. (I don't have plans to fly AC in the foreseeable future).
I'm not sure if AC offers any bonus miles to a member who "refers" me. If there is such an offer that could benefit you, send me an IM in the next 24 hours. I'll use the first referral that reaches my in-tray. (Otherwise, I'll just sign up without referral tomorrow evening).
