Actually miles will be taken out of your account because you've now read a duplicate thread. Just like how you don't get miles for the same flight twice.

Since this thread was going no where, I just thought I'd let you all know that I booked a reward ticket to Asia today with no problems whatsoever. Except for the fact that SQ had no inventory which was to be expected I guess since I'm not part of their FFP.
Anyways, Habs still suck!!

Check closer to departure date, SQ sometimes releases a bunch of award seat close to dep date. Then again, this is the same carrier that have some sick theory about rather keeping F empty than having someone redeem an award on it.

Actually the SQ flight would have put me in a really tight connection situation so its best that I forget about it. Maybe another time.
