Do you mean you were E75K prior to hitting SE this week? If so, your priority award counter will reset - at least that was my experience last year. If you were already SE and have just re-qualified, there will be no change.

My IKK counter did reset too. And I did receive the SE email last week. Not too happy about this since I was just about to book a trip (requiring Priority Reward) using my "leftover" IKK.
This is surprising since we were not invited to select our privileges yet. Last year, the counter did reset the day the privileges were selected, which was on Dec 4 2015 for me. If I remember correctly, someone on FT mentioned that it is also what AC had indicated (reset at time of selecting privileges). Now it seems that it will reset automatically after 365 days.
And of course, no one was notified.

Currently SE, but will be down to E50 next year. I should have access to my IKK until Feb 28, 2018 given my SE status this year, correct? Or should I make sure to book anything before Dec 31st to be safe? Knowing Air Canada IT I'm guessing it will be better to book sooner rather than later in case of 'complications'

would a strategy here, if we have several leftover IKKs and may run short next year, be to use up all remaining IKKs prior to Dec4? And pay a $75CDN change fee each time one is needed.
