Just because the tags are from last year doesn't mean they don't have current status

I recently misplaced my 2016 tags and had to use a 2015/2014 tag.

SPG also gave metal baggage tags. Continental used to give out metal baggage tags too.

Metal is heavier than plastic so sending post would cost AC more. QED.

Be careful no one snaps a picture of you with old tags canadiancow

I haven't used a current tag in 2 years.

So did AC's, but I was not talking about 1990's. SPG tags have been plastic for a long time now. CP tags were also metal if you like living in the past.

AC uses Canada Post, p.p. Same price for everything under 1kg. No extra shipping cost for metal.

Some people use all their prior tags. I will use two different metal hoops with only the current tag.

Nothing wrong with using an old tag.

But there is something a little odd about using your 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 tags on the same bag.

I was in the second round of qualifications and signed up in early January and just received my package in Houston today.

Cards look pretty similar to last year, but this year they've delivered 4 luggage tags.

Just received mine yesterday as well. Am I the only one that received a package where the glue that is used to attach the back of each card to the booklet almost impossible to remove?!?

I haven't read anyone else complain about it, but I spent 5 minutes trying to remove it completely on one of the cards and decided to use nail polish remover to only have the maple leaf logo removed as well! Good thing they gave us 4 this year...

n/m I saw one other user already complain as well!

I received my package in YOW yesterday.....about 3 weeks after Mrs. Plumber received her gifted-for-life E50K package.

I, too, struggled with the glue more than I had to in previous years, but did manage to remove it all patiently, and without solvents!
