Ipsos survey AC post-flight survey

(Not sure if there are other threads commenting on this. Merge if desired!)

Just completed a survey on flight a few days ago. After rating, they asked for comment "please be as specific as possible", so I do my best. They provide a little tiny text box that my browser could not stretch out, and great big font in it, but when I submitted, it errored at me "you can only put 1000 characters" (or something like that) "and you put 3500 characters". Like, really? As specific as possible, but you have a limit, AND you keep the limit secret until AFTER I have input all my comment?
Great!
All my original diplomacy goes out the window in the harsh blue-pencil (and blue-air) session that follows.
Asking for comments, good. Having limits on length, maybe unavoidable. Just don't disrespect me by telling me the limit 2000 characters too late.
Grrr

Yeah, I'm always amazed that people whose sole job is to design surveys can make such a mess of them.

The font size is as large as you see it here for both the "name" field and the comment field. LOL

I know what software Ipsos uses. The default limit is 1000, the software and database supports 4000.

Thanks for pointing this out. I received the same survey. I will try to be "specific" and stop at 1000 characters.

You could write the whole thing using FT abbreviations

Survey Invite from Air Canada

I just got an Ipsos survey request on behalf of AC, so start to fill it out.

But I am stumped by this question:

Many of the questions today are in reference to the Air Canada flight you took on Jun 16/17 from YYZ-LIM. Which class were you seated in on this trip?
Problem is, I haven't been on a flight at all this month. I haven't had a ticket to LIM since 2014 and even then, it was on CM. Color me confused!

They've stopped sending me surveys. I rank AC so low, they have dropped me as a statistical outlier.

LOL. I think I rank them lower. And yes, I have not received any surveys this year.

Of course they're going to drop you if you keep answering the questions incorrectly.
