Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was a joke - Adam
Damn! And I thought I had someone to commiserate with. I typed in YYZ instead of YYC and didn't notice till a couple of days before the flight ... it ended well -- catgirl

Saturday morning hiking

I am planning to lead a hike before the 'official' 'do'. So far 3 of us are going, but I'm happy to show off our beautiful trails to as many as possible! We will go at the pace of the slowest person (possibly me!).

We will be hiking from Alyard farm, meeting there at 11am. If you need a ride, PM painintheuk. It will be a slow, relaxed pace, with snacks along the way!

We'll be done and back in plenty of time to check in and relax before the Do.

Please add your name below:
PainintheUK
catgirl (well ... maybe)
eigenvector

AND A BIG BIG THANKS TO LIGHTS_A_BLUR AND THE OTHERS WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Hey all,

Under the Flights and Dates section in the wiki, someone posted

"Harbour Air from YVR Saturday morning, return Sun morning"

Did you want this as a topic for those interested, or is this you saying that's your flight route?

Thanks

That is my plan, with flights arriving YVR late Friday night and departing Sunday midday. Happy for it to be a topic if you like, if folks are interested in sharing/chartering.

Thanks. ^

Having done a couple of their sightseeing tours, I thought it was a great idea and a few others suggested it on page 1 one the thread.

I just edited the wiki to make it a topic and included the link.

I will be stumbling and may take you up on this haha! Haven't booked a hotel yet. Thank you for your kind offer.

I'd be 100% down for this if another FTer wanted to join in. I can fly into YVR on Fri as well. Keep me posted. If you decide to not fly on a seaplane, I'll probably just do YYC-YYJ non stop Sat AM. Link on WIKI isn't working for me

I'd probably be up for the seaplane since my FP can't take me to YYJ and Flex to YYJ is about the same price as the FP anyway.

Yes, and when I opened it, the same thing happened. Since I only copy & past the URL directly from Harbour Air's site (and I've notice a few other posts on FT where the links seem to be broken), not sure what the problem is.

I've re-pasted again, but when I click it from within the wiki, I get a Server Error - first time I've ever seen it.

Perhaps one of our talented software engineers can explain.

Seems to be an issue of clicking the link from within FT as when I just copied and pasted it into another browser window, it works fine. (see below)

.

Fixed it for you.

The link was defined like:

Code:
[ url]https://www.harbourair.com/
[/url]
(I added the space between "[" and "url" to prevent it from being turned into a URL)

The newline after the URL was causing it to be rendered as

Code:
https://www.harbourair.com/<br />
Which apparently broke their server
