LOL -- not laughing at your misfortune but it's good to know that I am not the only person who has done this! Fortunately, I was an SE at the time, so they were pretty good at fixing it for me without a penalty! -- catgirl
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that was a joke - Adam
Damn! And I thought I had someone to commiserate with. I typed in YYZ instead of YYC and didn't notice till a couple of days before the flight ... it ended well -- catgirl

Saturday morning hiking

I am planning to lead a hike before the 'official' 'do'. So far 3 of us are going, but I'm happy to show off our beautiful trails to as many as possible! We will go at the pace of the slowest person (possibly me!).

We will be hiking from Alyard farm, meeting there at 11am. If you need a ride, PM painintheuk. It will be a slow, relaxed pace, with snacks along the way!

We'll be done and back in plenty of time to check in and relax before the Do.

Please add your name below:
PainintheUK
catgirl (well ... maybe)
eigenvector

AND A BIG BIG THANKS TO LIGHTS_A_BLUR AND THE OTHERS WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN!!!

Folks, as the co-host, I've made an error. I have a previous engagement on the 29th and would only be available on May 6th.

Having said this, there is a marked increase in hotel rates after May 1 so I'd still like to have a pre-May option. I suggest we have it either May 6 or April 22. April 22nd is a week after Easter.

Sorry about the inconvenience, but can I please request you update your availability so we can nail down the date in the next day or two.

Cheers,

Lights_a_blur

Well, neither do I, but I do remember playing the fields of tall grass where Hillside Mall now is. Back when that was rural land some distance from the city.
Ken, I'll be really impressed if you can remember this, kitty-corner to the site of present-day Hillside Mall.

Well this looks like fun!

I'm 95% certain I can make May 6th.

If it ends up being April 22nd, I might be able to change a reward ticket once already en route, but there's no way I'm touching it until the majority has been flown.

Not quite kitty corner. Grant's general store, the fish and chip shop and a few others were in between.

I went to school there... Before it was a "middle" school.

I now have an office in YYJ so I am there at least once a month. Will try and time my visit those months to coincide with the selected date.

Great! It will be nice to see you again since the awesome Palliser Dinner Do (July 2015). Great job by SAP and I still have the FT menu as a souvenir.

Unfortunately I wont know for sure until end of February because exam season ends on 28th.

I will try my utmost best to make it as long as I finish exam before hand.
