Definitely an improvement in visibility of availability for IKK since yesterday though.

I just discovered the magic of IKK, seeing full J availability on YYZ-YVR was.. climaxing.

I may never have to buy another ticket for a long... long time.

I'm sure TangoJack was referring to when he logs in with his father's account...you know, so he can salivate as his father mysteriously donates one of his Priority Rewards to his favourite son..

There was a time that Elites could do IKK at double the mileage rate... Was that taken away at some point in the last few years?

Forgive me for asking as I don't know anything about E50K priveleges.

I was the one pushing that theory the hardest IMO. Over a two day span I 'tested' >150 flights and it held true every time.

Still there, but only for Y.

Well, but I am pretty sure SE gets additional Y redemption inventory as well.
Case in point, I was looking at YYZ-YVR dates where even E75K Priority Rewards was turning up nothing except long connections, and today almost all Y flights on that day poped up.

YVRHKG looks very back to normal. IMO there is no change from before. Any day with R>0 you can IKK.

TPAC routes aren't the problems. I found problems with some TATL routes, and that's where the YQ waiver makes the biggest difference.

I can't believe how long it took them to fix this.

I thought it would take much, much longer.

I'd still like to know what precipitated this.

And part of me wonders if it was a trial balloon.

And if it was a trial balloon, do you really think they would admit it?

Or would they just claim it was a glitch?

And part of me wonders if they have done any models to determine how much they could save on their expenses if they just flew the planes empty.

I believe you mean TPAC routes aren't you're problem.

There was no IKK on any TPAC route, the only direction I use IKK for.
