The Q A I liked the best was when they said it was a myth that you could get the same availability selection on the website as you could when you call an agent. If only that were true. Maybe if the web system is working perfectly, but that's not been my experience.

Then, I searched my email and found a November 25 email entitled

with the offer.

if you search for Aeroplan and myth (possibly on Nov 25), and you follow that link, you should get.
I don't think anyone has reported getting points without having an email link.
