787 - 763 swap
Hi
I was booked in FLex with subsequent upgrade to fly YYZ-YVR. On my return I specifically booked the 787 for Sunday. Today I look and its been swapped for a 763. Do I have any options at all?
thanks

Not sure why but it doesn't seem to be unusual for AC to swap eastbound widebodies. I've had it happen several times. I understand sometimes eastbounf flights ex-Asia are delayed and they try to keep the YVR-YYZ continuation departing on time, but like you' I've also had ships swapped days prior with no explanation.

I noticed my flight from YYZ-LAX in September is on a 789. What are the changes they are going to use the Dreamliner? I have a feeling it's going to be switched to a 767 as well.

One of my 777 flights to LAX was swapped for a 763
My supposed 789 flight to LAX last week was swapped for a 763 (and the fun part was I noticed it on the seat map months ago, and posted here that the booking page was still showing equipment as a 789)
