Limited duty free options onboard flights to Asia

Why the limited Duty free selection on flights to Asia and no electronics?

I wanted to use my $30 duty free coupon from AC on a battery pack for my phone that was listed in the regular Duty Free magazine to everywhere else except Asia?

You can pre-order on line from a larger list than that carried on board.

I seem to recall something about limited space on the 777HDs. But, I'm not totally sure about that.

Where are you flying? You may have far better on arrival options.

I have never found a single thing worth buying in any AC duty free magazine, and I am pretty sure I am not the only one.

It's very, very rare that I see anyone ever buy anything on board. Even the "sun and fun" type flights still give the duty free a pass.

This is what I was told by the SD on routes with the HDs. More pax, means more room needed for food carts. Duty Free trolleys were thus jettisoned.

Duty free modified due to space limitations on 787 and I believe 77P. AFAIK, full range of products available through on-line pre-order.

I wish AC has a more extensive duty free catalog. Choices are certainly limited compare to CX and SQ.
