If you add another 1400 for an upgrade on the return, you end up at $3600. Which may or may not be in P territory.
I value confirmation at time of reservation. So I would pay $4k for a P rather than taking my chance with one of these. There is also the difference in Aeroplan miles which ought to be factoed in.

Appreciate the feedback, going to enjoy the pod, just wanted to make sure I didn't pay way too much for the upgrade!
Also... kind of curious if it would've been cheaper when checking in 1hr prior to the flight?

It could have been less, more, or the same depending upon how many seats were left (mainly).
This was an LMU right? Not an eUograde co-pay?

Not quite $2260 CAD. $868 R/T, $1394 for upgrading one leg. Maybe another $1400 for the return leg?

May 18 YYZ-LHR from Tango K
$2218 --> J Declined
No option for PE
EDIT:
When back to OLCI and got the follwing:
$392 --> PE
$4699 --> J
Went to accept the PE upgrade (as I had already paid a $100 preferred seat fee which would have been refunded) and got the error message after putting in credit card details: "Sorry, a paid upgrade is no longer available."
Log back in to OLCI, and the same offers are available, but still unable to purchase.

Call in to see if the upgrade shows? Is a seat map showing a PY seat? Or even just a Flex PY fare for sale? EUps at least allocate one and this close out it should be fairly accurate.
You'd hope AC would prioritize what can make then money. Oh wait, my bad.

Sounds like someone upped PY to J to me.

Seat map shows one available PE seat (14F) - so I'm actually thankful it didn't end up processing. I'm in an exit row aisle, so a move to PE middle seat might be a "slight" downgrade. Anyway, it's a 6.5hr TATL, no big deal.

If I'm booked in Economy A and do a LMU to Business on a domestic flight, which business fare am I in (asking in regards to M&M miles)? P?
