You don't look like twins.

I bet she thought one of you was cute. Or with the twin aspect, maybe both of you?

I was going to post something along these lines, but maybe just a little cruder.

Well I definitely appreciate her being overly nice... maybe she was just having a great day

On a flight with my son YYZ-DCA in an EMB75/90 (cant remember)
Sitting in row 12. During taxi, FA asks us to move up to pair of empty J seats to watch safety video because IFE was broken in our seats. So we complied.
After video is over, she asks us to move back to original seats. I made a half joke about staying in the J seats, but go the same non-response they always give when someone 'asks' to sit in empty J seats.
It didn't click in until after as to why she REALLY asked us to move - if we didn't move (ie J was full) I think she would have been technically obligated to do the full manual safety demonstration which she obviously did not feel like doing but had no problem asking passengers to move around with the seat belt sign on.
Knowing her motivation I should have said if I move to those seats I will be staying there, otherwise - do the full safety demo...

I think declining a FA request when it's reasonable (moving your entire party from Y to J) is a good way to get escorted off the plane

Or you might get written up and AC corporate security sends you a nice note.

Had no problem with that part of the request, I actually thought I was being moved to J for 'weight and balance'

Ahh, this reminds me! There's a SD I've flown with now 4 times in the last year. First time I was in J, offered to write in and complimented her about her amazing service. Second time in J, super nice, super awesome, same thing. She didn't really want me to pursue writing in.

Third and fourth time in Y. She goes "Welcome back Mr. Penguin" and proceeds to shake my hand, I was thinking to myself, OMG SHE REMEMBERS MY NAME!! We've had SO many chats over the many hours.

The handshakes have now turned to hugs She's hands down awesome. I feel bad though, I don't remember her name

Next time I see her i'm getting a selfie of us

--
I wrote in about an awesome SD once. Two weeks later i'm in J and i'm like OMG you're awesome, would you like me to write in? Anyway, here's my card in case you want me to write in so i'm not overbearing. She then goes..

"OMG you're that guy who works for ******. My brother was SO happy when you wrote in, was it you?.........pause......Yes."

---

I had a SD on one flight that I had recognized before. I'm sitting there going...dammit what flight was it? After meal service, the guy turns around and goes...I remember, you were on my 788 flight with flygurl30. I'm going...wait, I can check.

I then turn my laptop and go, yep, you're right. Remember this selfie? (I took one with the crew and I). He's then goes, "yep, that's the one, and from what I remember, you really like G+T's right? Doubles?" - the rest is up to your imagination

[QUOTE=drvannostren;24724253]If I'm not mistaken a C1 is a guaranteed seat.

That sounds dumb when I say it, but normally employees travel on standby passes, but I think they're entitled once a year (or something like that) to a C1, which is basically a real ticket, on a standby price.

Starting to go a bit off topic - but. C1 is likely a C1/J10 which would mean that you get to jump ahead of all the other normal C2 standbys and be provided J-Class space available. It's a good priority but is still behind the A1's (of which there are really few) as well as the B-level passes (which are various special circumstances).

In any case - I would expect the C1's are always near the bottom of the meal priority.
