This new annual thread has been carved out of the previous thread in an effort to reduce the number of megathreads on the AC forum. For those interested the original 2004 - 2014 thread on the topic may be found here.
That original thread started by accident but quickly became a popular place to come and discuss off topic things such as hockey, new movies, or almost anything that wouldn't fit into existing AC forum threads. More Air Canada or Aeroplan topics such as flight feedback, in-flight services issues or mileage earning/redemption are all topics that should go into existing AC forum threads so others can benefit from this information. Topics about other airline/hotel loyalty programs should be posted elsewhere on FT.
While the conversation is more relaxed as it would be in a lounge that doesn't mean however that the FT rules don't apply her as they definitely do so please refrain from controversial topics such as politics or religion, avoid profanities and treat other lounge patrons with the same respect you expect.

I slept on my 788 flight last night. I slept like an absolute baby () and I didn't once hit that table. That seat is not any more or less spacious than the BR reverse herringbone product. (in my experiences). Now i'm 6 foot and about 140 pounds now (so less me than when you last met me)...but still, from a leg room perspective/knee room, I still qualify for being an "outlier" being taller than the average population...

I don't know why you have such an issue with the tray table. You're not 300 pounds or 6 feet 8

Having been on the 788 twice before and remembering it and once without (cue Micro Do), it still shocked me how quiet the airplane was when I flew it yesterday. Can't wait for another 2 flights on the 788 in May! Although i'm in PY, and I won't have enough eupgrades by then

The pod is more comfortable if you sleep just laying down and that's it, but I don't know.
You can probably notice me easily on the place cause I'm that guy hardcore passed out sleeping on his stomach, and knees up when on my back.
Transitioning from one position to the other is the worse as I knock my knee against the table, and THAT wakes me up lol

lol yeah well it's because I like to sometimes sleep with 1 or 2 knees up, and just having that mobility makes a huge difference.

@24L - regarding your previous request in this specific thread, do you still need/want to know the sub-5K mile TATL menu? When do you travel?

Distraction of the Day
jaysona posted a link to a photo in the AC624 accident thread from an instagram account. In danymacfarlane's photo collection, I found this and just had to post.
Pretty good picture of the removal process taken last night by a YHZ based employee.

Stop reading posts on your phone! You miss the details. LOLOL
That penguin carry-on is hilarious.
At NRT, I saw someone pulling a Hello Kitty one of similar size.
